This is a great way to make sure your application is optimized prior to having it reviewed by program admissions.
What is a Pre-Application Showcase?
You can think of a Pre-Application Showcase as a dry run for the official college admissions application process. It gives you a private and informal way to market your interest directly to program admissions.
A Pre-Application Showcase has several benefits to individuals interested in applying to academic programs.
- A Pre-Application Showcase gives you a better way to self-reflect on the way you present yourself in your college admission applications.
- Pre-application Showcases are reviewed by college admissions. They will connect with individuals they believe are a good fit for the program.
- Individuals that go through this process create more thoughtful and effective college admissions.
Creating a Pre-Application Showcase can take as little as 5 minutes if you choose to do the bare minimum and only include your existing resume. Like all other activities, you get out of it what you put into it.
